From Winter Park (Capital Wrestling Center):

We open with a fight breaking out between the female members of The Way (Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell) and NXT women's tag team champions Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon. Triple H and others break up the brawl, but not before Candice steals one of the belts and ends up clocking the Cerebral Assassin, who was in between LeRae & Moon.

"It's GO time!"

Jack Hunter joins the fray. Candice cuts a promo, and reiterates her lie to Indi from Tuesday. Jack snaps his fingers to cut off her mic.

"Stop lying, Candice! I think by now we know who was really responsible for the flowers & candy by your actions on Tuesday.", he snarls. The Way is sent to the Founders' office.

1. Non-title: Blackheart & Moon def. Aliyah & Jesse Kamea in 2:10 when Moon hit the Eclipse on Aliyah. Robert Stone was ejected for distracting Blackheart :30 seconds in.

Backstage, we learn that LeRae has been suspended indefinitely for misconduct, as the Founders think separating her from Hartwell will allow Indi to think for herself.

2. Hart Foundation Cup, men's 1st round/non-title: Rey Mysterio def. Apollo Crews via DQ in 8:55 when Commander Azeez (formerly Dabba-Kato) interfered, and left Rey lying.

3. Hart Foundation Cup, men's 1st round/non-title: Sheamus def. John Morrison via Brogue Kick in 11:41. Sheamus will face Mysterio in round 2.

Backstage, Bronson Reed, scheduled to face Bobby Lashley in the co-feature, is found laid out backstage. Cause unknown.

4. Hart Foundation Cup, men's 1st round/non-title: KUSHIDA submitted The Miz in 11:20 with the Hoverboard Lock.

5. Non-title: Mercedes Martinez def. Indi Hartwell in 5:11 with the Air Raid Crash. Indi acted like there was someplace else she'd rather be.

6. Hart Foundation Cup, 1st round: Braun Strowman def. Santos Escobar in 8:00 with the Stampede. Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza both came out, but only one of them can use the coach's box. Both tried attacking Strowman, and were ejected.

7. UWA World tag team titles: The Street Profits def. The Dark Order's 5 & 10 (Alan Angels & Preston Vance) in 11:11 when Vance was pinned after a Montez Ford frogsplash. Babyface match.

Backstage, Bronson Reed is meeting with the trainers and Triple H. Reed is holding a piece of a shirt, and a familiar looking logo......

8. Hart Foundation Cup, men's 1st round/non-title: Roman Reigns (w/Paul Heyman) def. L. A. Knight in 11:30 with the spear. Knight was a default babyface here, as Reigns & Heyman got nuclear heat.

Lashley vs. Reed has been rescheduled for next week.

Johnny Gargano & Austin Theory are out, as they are scheduled for the last two matches. Or, actually, they were.

NXT GM William Regal, also the UWA Commissioner is out, holding the fragment of a The Way t-shirt. One quick check of Gargano shows that Reed tore his shirt. Under the tournament rules, Gargano is disqualified from the tournament, and so is Theory, as both attacked Reed. Gargano is so very afraid of facing Reed all over again that he resorted to a guerrilla attack from behind. Both heels are ejected.

9. Hart Foundation Cup, men's 1st round (Jacksonville): Chris Jericho def. Cody Rhodes via The Judas Effect in 13:34.

Announced for next week:

UWA champion Karrion Kross, who was to face Theory, now gets former IC champion Big E. Drew McIntyre, who was to face Gargano, will instead be matched with Raw tag team co-champion AJ Styles.

Lashley vs. Reed.
More 1st round action in the independent division.

10. Hart Foundation Cup, men's 1st round/non-title: Colt Cabana def. "Filthy" Tom Lawlor via submission with the Billy Goat's Curse in 13:41.

One change to this week's show.

The Roman Reigns-LA Knight match was edited out at the last minute.

A video from Commissioner William Regal airs instead, as he announces that due to a post-match assault after beating Daniel Bryan on Smackdown, Reigns has been disqualified from the tournament for "gross misconduct", and suspended for 30 days without appeal. Reigns will be replaced by National champion Damian Priest, who will face Knight in a match added to the 5/8 episode, and taped 5/2.
